Robusta is a tech agency specializing in building seamless digital solutions and facilitating digital transformation for leading organizations in the MENA region.
During the Pandemic, Robusta transitioned to a ‘hub-spoke’ hybrid work style. Accordingly, they opted to reduce their office area.
Our challenge was to create a concept design for their new office tot would function as a central hub. This space would connect all staff remotely, serving as a gathering point for team meetings and organizational events.

DESIGN CONCEPT
Due to the creative nature of this project, we collaborated with the Robusta team to develop a visual vocabulary that captures the unique DNA of their organizational personality.The organization is driven by value and growth through meaningful experiences. It believes in fostering young, enthusiastic talent, supercharged with creative energy and fueled by efficiency.To reflect this personality, we explored the most efficient geometric shape found in nature, which is the hexagon. It optimally fills a plane with equal-sized units, leaving no wasted space.Upon deconstructing a regular hexagon, we obtain triangles, illustrating a simple-complex relationship. From a structural perspective, the triangle is considered one of the strongest geometric shapes for bearing weight
EXPERIENTIAL GRAPHIC DESIGN
USER GROUPS: Users of the space are grouped into 2 broad profiles: Robusta employees and Visitors
TOUCH POINTS: Location of visual elements in space which communicates the identity of the organization according to users’ profile
THE INTERIOR DESIGN
The workplace is primarily designed to promote collaboration among hybrid teams. The space offers a variety of settings for group interaction. This includes a ‘Team Space’ with formal and casual setups, a ‘Workshop Space’ for interactive sessions, and hybrid meetings. In addition, there is a separate meeting room designed for formal meeting setups. These areas are connected by an overarching parametric structure, which serves to create boundaries while also fostering a sense of connection throughout the entire workplace.
