MoneyFellows is a booming Fintech company that provides smart saving options through evolutionary technology to create and support trusted and convenient money circles. In the client brief, it was clear that their primary goal was to provide their staff with the best working environment. They wanted an exquisite space that reflects the organizational values that call for trust, collaboration, and innovation while embracing change and constantly setting the sights higher than previously imagined. We took on the challenge of giving MoneyFellows FinTech company a state-of-the-art workplace that would invite knowledge-based workers to come back to the office and inspire them to do their very best work.

DESIGN CONCEPT

‍

Based on the pre-design studies, we realized that our design challenge is to craft a stimulating space that strikes the right balance between consonance and dissonance. We opted for an ‘Activity Based Workplace’ layout to address this challenge.

This includes a mix of quiet and open workspaces, small meeting rooms, a huddle room, and a large work lounge. The wide diversity of work settings gives the employees a choice to decide where to work according to the nature of the task at hand.

THE INTERIOR DESIGN

A visually comfortable workplace offers opportunities to get balanced exposure to electric and natural light during the day. A physically comfortable workplace hosts workspaces with various positions and encourages movement throughout the day.

Design Flexibility:

The adaptable partition separating the two meeting rooms can be opened to create a single, larger space when necessary.

EXPERIENTIAL GRAPHIC DESIGN

‍

To give Money Fellows a distinctive visual experience, we worked with them to distill their core values. They are a team of leaders who live their ideals, embrace change and seek the next peak. These values were then intuitively translated into space. As such, a parametric shell made of interlaced wood membranes extends across the space. On the walls of the cafeteria stand a street artwork inspired by the core values of the company.

This parametric installation serves as a visual representation of the scout mindset, one of the core values at Money Fellows. When viewed from a distance, the piece appears as a silhouette of a scout on a tree. However, when viewed up close, itis made up of parallel ribs fixed on the wall. This represents the idea that it takes a certain level of perspective and distance to truly understand and grasp the scout mindset.
